Straight to the point and effective - Rated 5/5
Joe Vitale is one the contributors from The Secret and this book is a quickfire summary of how to get rid of what you don't want in your life, how to work out what you do want and how to stop self-sabotaging yourself from receiving it.

Some have said this book is rather thin - yes, it is, however, it is a distillation of what probably took Joe many years to work out. It is therefore concise, straight to the point and can be read in a day.

Spiritual Marketing is not a conventional business studies book about marketing (although the author is highly experienced in this mainstream area) instead it's about you and what you want to do from within - i.e. market and orient yourself towards a more fulfilling life.

This book should be referred back to and re-read several times.

The author touches on some points which are fascinating and I wish he had elaborated on a bit more - such as 'breathing in colours'.

Overall, a great read and a highly instructive self-help book.

Hum... Here's my take - Rated 5/5
Personally i liked the book very much and working in a field where this subject matters a lot, as i am a life coach, then i found many aspects useful and it gave me a better understanding when facing my clients challenges with them.

I also bought a copy of the book for my friend who loved it and even my husband read it, and it's probably the first book he's read in our entire marrige and relationship. SO that in itself says something. He enjoyed it and the format made it easier for him to take in.

So... it's not going to be a book for everyone, but i definately know, that if people are open to being aware of their beliefs, they can easily understand where their beliefs came from and if it is time to change them or not.

I like how several authors have said, `if you are reading this book, it's because you are open to such new ideas, and if you get to X point in the book and you still don't get it, just close the book and forget about it's existance.'

Personally i think you will always have something to take from any book you read and you can never believe anyting a 100% because your experiences and beliefs and references, will be different, not only from the person who wrote it, but anyone.
So i say - enjoy it and if you don't like it, i bet if you pass it on, someone is bound to love it.

P.S. That's why we're all unique and can always learn from each other.

A Slightly Misleading Title - Rated 3/5
I felt misled by the title when I bought this book. I expected it to be about marketing in the traditional sense, perhaps with a different twist but basically about marketing. Instead I found that the word is used in its widest possible sense that we all 'market' ourselves all the time by the vibration we are giving out to the world. The book is nothing to do with traditional marketing techniques and everything to do with clarifying our personal vibration to attract the things we want into our lives.

So I felt disappointed because I have already read a number of good books along these lines. What does Joe Vitale's book add? Well, he has some personal success stories to tell, which are always interesting. Of his 5-step formula, 4 of them were not new to me, but may be new to others. However, the one step he gives most attention to, happily, was the one that was most useful to me: getting clear, in the sense of emotional clearing, identifying those limiting beliefs and emotions that might be sabotaging your best intentions. I tried one of the methods suggested in this chapter and it was a very illuminating process for me. I am also taking steps to get someone who can help further as Joe suggests.

So finally I was glad I had bought this book. It is a quick and easy read, but be aware that if you have read this kind of book before, you may not encounter much that is new to you here.

Stunned - Rated 5/5
A friend suggested I read this book and told me very little about it. Only saying that he's read many self-help, self-development books before, but nothing like this.

I sat down at 9.30 AM to have a quick look and stood up 2 hours later having read the whole thing and wow! I've always beleived the universe takes care of everything .. 'What goes round comes round etc.' but this book takes it further and explains how to make it work for you in a less randon manner.

Having just finished the book I was raving on about the thing and my wife took it off me. Two and a half hours later she'd read the whole thing and was also raving.

Later that day a friend dropped by and took it away. She telephoned a few hours later and was stunned.

Three of us read this book in one day. Three of us thought the book amazing. We've all read this type of book before but never one written with such insight.

I've just got the book back and I'm about to read it again.

What a load of rubbish! - Rated 1/5
This is possibly the worst and least helpful book I have ever read. I don't even want to give it one star!

I should have guessed something was up as the book is very thin, has enormous text, double line-spacing and plenty of blank lines in the middle of the text for you to write your own thoughts in...

This book contains no real useful tips at all. It simply advises you to start thinking that everything will be great and then untold wealth and riches will start magically appearing...

Of course the 'positive thinking' sentiment is correct, but the way the author describes it, positive thinking alone can make you win the lottery! It is highly irresponsible. Positive thinking should be backed with some genuine action plans (not waiting to win the lottery...)
