A great help - Rated We found this book when we transfered to Ireland from New Zealand for a period of 2 - 3 years. Our first holidays with our children (6 and 9 years) were ok but pretty stressful and not particularly enjoyable. On reading the book we had a good laugh as we saw ourselves, our experiences and our mistakes reflected in the book - it's a relief to find out that our experiences are shared with other families. The book gives an excellent broad range of information and although it is written from an American perspective, it would be useful for anyone traveling with children of any age. We continue to delve into it every time we plan a trip.
