Another very good novel by Sharon Sala, but only 4 stars as the ending was left open regarding the killer of Cat's father. Don't mind this if there is a sequel but would like to know if there is and when it will be available!

Nine Lives was a great read. If you are in to suspense with a little romance thrown in, this is the book for you. The story centres around Cat, a women who has managed to cheat death twice. She has learned that the heart is a fragile thing and so has hardened herself to any chance of involvement. When her best friend is killed, she is determined to avenge her. Here we meet the love interest, a man with the same job as her, who is obvious interested in more than just a "fling" which makes Cat wary of him. Her determination to find her best friend's killer and his determination to protect the woman he has come to love makes for a great read and will keep you page turning to the very end.

I have read many books written by Sharon Sala over the years and Nine Lives was one of her best. I read this book in 2 days I could not put this book down I enjoyed that much.
If your thinking of buying this book please do you won't be disappointed.

yet again Sharon Sala has written a book that grabs on the first page and does'nt let go until the last page.Cat the female lead has had a very tragic life, losing her parents at a young age and broughtup in the foster system, she does'nt let this bad start get her down. after leaving school she goes to work at a bounty hunters office starting at the bottom and working her way up to become one of the best bounty hunters in the business all the while checking out any bad guys with facial tatooes (her father was murdered by a guy like this). She meets Wilson another bounty hunter, he owns a rival firm, sparks fly between this two from the start but Cat is standdoffish towards him, but gradually she warms to him. When her best friend Mimi is murdered the two of them hunt down her killer.This is a very good read and I eagerly await the sequal to this book.
