BEST PUNISHER STORY EVER! - Rated This is one of the best punisher storys to date,easily as good as "welcome back Frank".This book is action packed all the way through.It includes violence and strong language.However, the humour of Marvel knights Punisher is gone,but I don't miss it.The Punisher is a dark character so why should there be humour?This graphic novel is very enjoyable and has an interesting story.It also includes the death of one of Franks best friends...... A Good Start for the MAX Series - Rated Making the move of the Punisher series from the Marvel Knights to the MAX imprint was a good choice by Marvel. It allows Garth Ennis to show some of the more brutal methods by Gangs like the Mafia in terrorizing poor blokes and includes Swearing, which I thought was a factor lacking Frank's adventures. However, the first storyline is lacking the Big Action and Comedy from the Marvel Knights series, which lets down the Book slightly. The story is a bit dull as the most of the book sees Frank in custody, but the finale makes up for it. It's a little disappointing to see interesting villains like Pittsy and Ink get bumped off but hey, this is the Punisher we're talking about. Not Superman. Overall, a solid first story from the Punisher MAX collection.

A Good Start for the MAX Series - Rated 3/5
Making the move of the Punisher series from the Marvel Knights to the MAX imprint was a good choice by Marvel. It allows Garth Ennis to show some of the more brutal methods by Gangs like the Mafia in terrorizing poor blokes and includes Swearing, which I thought was a factor lacking Frank's adventures.
