The best thing I've ever read - Rated Warren Ellis is the king of comic books, he's like an Alan Moore except unlike Moore, when Ellis goes over the top he leaves the book readable. This is Warren Ellis over the top and it is hilarious, amazing and awesome all in one. This goes beyond parody and satire into the realm of just pure fun to read. Absurdist superheroics. - Rated This doesn't satirise superheroes, it doesn't parody them. It goes way beyond that taking it into the realms of Absurdism. Warren Ellis gobbles up superhero cliches and throws them back up again into your face, laughing maniacally as he does so. None of it makes sense on any rational level (which may be the point). Warren Ellis knows it doesn't make sense. Warren Ellis doesn't care. If he wants another-dimensional villain to cackle at having one hundred American dollars then he'll write one. If he wants to fill up 12 pages with 6 double page spreads he'll write and make you like it. Or not. And if you like the sound of this and of Amazon's description above, then please buy it. Lots of people have. Though not enough to support the comic. And Mr Ellis, if I've completely missed the the point and unfairly maligned you in any way, I apologise. Or, if not, not.
