Amazing Animal Adventure ! - Rated Jane's Animal Expedition was a firm favourite with my son for the first two years of his life, and now it's all happening again with my 10-month-old daughter. There are 8 spreads in this book, each one featuring a scene from a different part of the world, from the rainforest to the Sahara and the North Pole. You can see Jane on her airplane studying the animals typical for the relevant environment (the animals are hidden behind the flaps). As Jane's Animal Expedition has been heavily read in our family, I've had to fix some of flaps with tape. I would strongly recommend this book to everyone with small children: for babies it offers lovely, colourful illustrations, while toddlers can enjoy the flaps and learn about the animal world. Enduring - Rated My 15-month old son received this book as a gift at 9 months. It became his favourite book, and it still is. He loves lifting the flaps and pointing at the various animals. This book has proven handy on many occasions when needing a little moment of peace. After 6 months use, the flaps have proven sturdier than expected and there is plenty of life in it. As he is now getting older, reading the story with him has also added a new dimension to the book!
