This book is packed with beautiful photographs of Iceland - a country I was lucky enough to visit this year. It's memory has a hold which seems to grow stronger and I have since purchased about four books on this beautiful place. This has terrific photographs which seem to concentrate on the colour and patternation of the land. If you are looking for a picture postcard book of places you may have seen - this is not necessarily it. (However, there is a very interesting section revealing the nature of the land and its people which does give interesting information). But if you are looking for Fine Art photography of breath-taking landscapes, then this book is for you. The natural colours are beautifully recreated and prove that nature has the best pallete of any artist. Interesting Icelandic quotes are placed alongside the photographs and these are thankfully translated into English.
Overall this book comes highly recommended.
