Being a Naval Architect, I think this is the best book of the series. Here you can find the real anatomy of the whole ship with all the different parts in perfect balance. I mean, there are other books that fill pages with guns and fittings while there is almost no information on hull structure, but in this one, whatever you want to check will be there.
The perspective drawings by John McKay are impressive, I already knew this from Bounty and Pandora, but as in this case he is picturing a more complex machine the result is superb.
Also there is a wealth of information comparing the hull lines of the Flower corvettes with those of whale catchers and later corvettes so you can follow the line of improved seaworthiness.
The only missing thing is the displacement and stability data as it seems that Mr. McKay could not get hold of any Naval Architect to input the lines into stability software. I would do that for free! Thank you for this book.
