Good list but needs more detail! - Rated
Massive list of places and descriptions, but no real directions as to how to get to any of the places, more research is needed.

I have Daniel Start's Wild Swimming and would recommend it over this as that has Postcodes/OS Map References. Although this is alot more packed, more homewoprk is needed and in my opinion this is something you'd keep in the and do on the off chance so the extra information is needed. Hopefully this would be included in a later edition.

Great Book - Rated
I really like this book. Great photos and passionate descriptions. Parts of the book made my tingle, reminding me of the excited tense feeling you get when putting on your wetsuit and taking that initial plunge!
I've just returned from a weekend away doing the 1st swim in the book, great weekend, thanks Kate!!

If you love swimming, this is the book for you! Brilliant - couldn't put it down. Excellent photographs too. Covers outdoor lidos, rivers, estuaries, sea, lakes all over UK. I am definately going to trying out some of these swims!

A nice book, strangely organized though. - Rated
This is a really nice book for a read or browse at home. The swimming sites aren't listed geographically though, so if you're planning a holiday, in Cornwall say, you have be constantly flicking around the book to find relevant listings. This means you almost need to make notes to make use of it. Otherwise very interesting.

Better than the other book with a similar name by 10 stars... at least. Great swims, great pictures, excellent!
