An interesting look at two faiths - Rated
At first glance the Buddhist and Baha'i faiths look very different. This book is a worthy attempt to point out what they have in common rather than what seems to separate them. Momen is a distinguished Baha'i scholar and while personally committed to the Baha'i principle of the essential unity of religions is also capable of scholarly detachment. The subject is a large one (after all what exactly is Buddhism, given the great variety of beliefs in embraces) and this book is small and aimed more at the general reader than the serious student, but within that frame it does a good job.
