Refreshing look at Christianity!!!! - Rated I found this book to give a totally refreshing look at Christianity, very helpful for someone who has just been born again in terms of making Christ real in day-to-day life especially in the materialistic society we live in. It's well written and might I add persuasive ( by the time I finished reading it I felt like I wanted to do all that it says insinde e.g how to be an influence on society), drawing from all aspects of life to indicate that God is just not about going to Church or keeping the company of Christians all the time, reading only Christians magazines but instead a way of life. So I would highly recommend it for someone who would like to be able to strike a good balance between leading a Christ like life without missing out on all the good things that God has put on this earth for His children to enjoy!!! A great book about the sermon on the mount - Rated In this book Nicky Gumbel takes us through Jesus' sermon on the mount, clearly explaining what it meant and how it is important to us now. It is put forward in a very clear readable English that is easy to follow. A great book for either a new Christian or a more mature one.
