Cheesy Americanised 1980s - Rated This is the first review I have ever written on Amazon, but after trying to read this book I felt compelled to let others know what this book is like. I bought this book because it was the best selling marketing book on Amazon. Yikes!!! It is an enormous book filled with so much waffle, if you took all the waffle out it would be a tenth of the size. The suggestions for photos made me fall off my chair laughing at the 1980s american hairstyles and utter cheese! Really, really awful!And that pretty much sums up the whole book. I'm not saying that there arent some nuggets of gold to be found in the 680 or so pages, but you have to dig really deep to find them. Definitely not recommended! Great read and information - Rated I read the book literally from cover to cover. I probably need to re-read again and this time start annotating because the amount of relevant information is mind-blowing. Every, but every aspect of small business marketing is covered in detail with examples and case-studies. Absolutely invaluable for small businesses! More Than a Book; its a Road Map! - Rated I not only purchased this book for myself, but a copy for my business partner; mine was too furry with Post-Its, notes, and dog ears to let it out of my sight! I have lived with this book close at hand for the last month, and feel it has brought tremendous focus to my business development activity. It is very readable, well organized, and packed with specific tasks to speed you on your way to success. Unlike marketing and business books that are long on theory, but fall short of actions and tasks, I translated this book, chapter by chapter into a project plan to carry my company, Big Head Interactive, through the first year. A Must Have, with spare copies for gift giving! It works! - Rated This helpful guide shows the small business owner how to organize their thinking and get going with successful marketing techniques. Following these guidelines, I was able to get press coverage for my business which resulted in new customers. I highly recommend this book for anyone wishing to grow their business.

This book came highly recommended to me but, even though I thought it was yet more American codswallop, I had nothing to lose so I gave it a try. Wow! Was I ever surprised!
