Thee Lopsang Rampa book to have. - Rated
The best and most practical book he has written to have, gives down to earth practical exercises on astral projection, seeing auras etc also gives detailed explainations on reincarnation, the subconscious and many other occult topics.
Don't believe the rubbish some people have written about him(obviously they have nt read about his history or many of his books and should stick to watching Big Brother or Footballers wives)he was originally Cyril Hoskins, but was adopted by the spirit of the Tibetian Sage and simply could not have made up so many accurate things when at the time his early books were published in the late fifties and Tibet was a closed country
Interesting but Deceitful - Rated
Its fairly thought provoking but there are many better books out there forthis. Don't look for historical fact, or indeed any fact in here. Theenglishman (not tibetan!) never went to tibet in his life! This book wouldbe better suited for research into the chap who wrote it than anythingelse. For the fact that the entire book is fiction, you're better offspending the time saved from reading this watching tv!
T Lobsang-Rampa - Rated
It should be noted that Doctor Tuesday Lobsang-Rampa was in fact a chap called Cyril Hoskins, an Englishman who never went to Tibet. As fiction, his books are entertaining, but that is what they are - fiction. Please do NOT try to drill a hole in your forhead to open your "third eye" - you will probably hurt yourself quite badly. Don't laugh - people have tried this.
A trigger for waking up! - Rated
In the present day, the world is full of various techniques which are supposed to help you in your spiritual development or coping with everydays problems. The point is, the technique itself is not important - it is YOU inside who is important. YOU are the almighty being and YOU just have to wake up. It is YOUR choice to keep yourself asleep. For me, this book is one of the triggers for waking up. There is tremendous knowledge waiting for US (not U.S.!!) to explore it. We just have to start practicing. The same author also said: "The more you know, more is to learn." The rest is up to us.
A CONCEPT OF BUDDHISM, ALBEIT THE TIBETAN VARIETY... - Rated
This book explains to the uninitiated about some of the mysteries of Eastern Religion, and also 'The other World'; pertaining to ghosts, gods and other entities of the next dimension. Written in everyday English and in an extremely witty manner, it speaks highly of the author's persona and understanding of the occult. He has managed to put across what Religion represents, and what we Orientals have understood for centuries, into an easily understood and highly readeble format. After all, isn't it Einstein who once said, " The Monk and the Scientist are on the same paths!"
