Good book...if you're called Mr B. Lee - Rated
This is a fine collection of photos and descriptions of how to grapple with would be assailants in the style of Bruce Lee. However it isn't accessible as a self defence manual because you have to have Mr. Lee's ability to kick people in the head or (very commonly it seems to me) punch peoiple lighting quick in the groin.

There are some useful tips open to the non-expert but I think i'll leave the roundhouses for the professionals

This book is another fantastic read, the pictures are easy to follow to learn/improve on your moves.

However, the book focuses more on Bruce Lee's punches, kicks and blocking techniques, rather than his grapples, restraint techniques and manipulation techniuqes.

If you are interested in improving on your sparring using punches and kicking, and how to block punches from an opponent, then this is a book for you!

Very Interesting - Rated
This book was the first one which I ordered in this series. I would suggest it for anyone who has started JKD and for just someone who is interested in starting JKD.

The book features tonnes of images which guide the reader into learning correct technique. Although the book is easy to understand I would suggest that you don't do any of the techniques without proper guidance from a qualified instructor!

This book has a very interesting section on parrying too, which I found extremely useful. You should buy this book, enjoy!

Excellent techniques - Rated
The second book in the JKD series.
This is an excellent book that is an absolute must if you are looking into Lee's formless art.

It takes the basics of what you learn from "Bruce Lee's Fighting Method: Basic Training" and goes one step further. Its describes brilliantly how to execute various techniques, it explains the origin and adaptations of techiniques from other arts (most notably the sticky hands techniques of Wing Chun) and why they have been incorporated.

It emphasises time and again how you should carry these techniques out, explains how they should feel to you and others, and goes into detail about what state you should be in while practicing the different types of techniques.

Deffinately a must.

this book not only tells you and helps you understand bruce lee's jkd but it gives readers to see what his martial is. this book gives good fighting techniques and very good pictures and illustrations. a must for all praticing martial artists and for the gerneral bruce lee fan.
