As a mother, this is just what I was looking for!!!! - Rated I'm very weary about the type of stories I read my daughter, the whole "grow up, meet a man and he'll make you happy", is not the kind of message I wish to put over to her. Yet so many books put this across. I was looking for a book that would let her know how special she is, to let her know she was equal to everyone and everything. This book explains it in ways I think children can understand, and it's beautifully illustrated. I brought this for my daughter when she was two, she's now four and loves it still, she knows it off by heart. One bit "I said a prayer, I know was heard, cos all that is, hears every word", still sends shivers down my spine even now. It's a wonderful book for adults and children alike. Not suitable for my 2 year old - Rated This is a very confusing book, which seeks to justify the title 'All I see is Part of Me', for example "I am my hands I am my feet, I am the puppy across the street, I am the moon I am the stars, I'm even found in candy bars! In other words we eat ourselves when we eat 'candy'! The star in the sky ("Sister Star") is part of the little boy - inside of him, and talks to him. There are better ways to discuss nature, and how it completes itself, through real examples, rather than an idea, which is potentially frightening to young children. A perfect book...it's all right here - Rated I first read "All I See Is Part of Me" when it first came out. I read it, I look at it... frequently. Chara Curtis' words in few pages capture everything there is to know about the spiritual life as perceived through the innocence of a child's open knowing. It's a classic. A wonderful book that speaks to the child's soul. - Rated This book is a rare find - it speaks of what is true and real in life, in a way a child can understand...helping her/him to feel secure in their connection to all things....there is no book I would rather read to my daughter than All I See!

This book is a rare find - it speaks of what is true and real in life, in a way a child can understand...helping her/him to feel secure in their connection to all things....there is no book I would rather read to my daughter than All I See!
