Clear, insightful and enjoyable! - Rated
A beautiful book. Clear, insightful and enjoyable. This book has helped me immensely. It sets out to do everything that books on non-duality try to do - to express the inexpressable but there is a deep underlying intelligence in the writing that I haven't seen before.
For me personally the whole seeing that there is no one, which at once was so powerful was then overlain by all sorts of angles of pain and confusion which grew into 'me' and 'mine' and problems again. For some reason reading this book has helped to pierce through that confusion with great tenderness and understanding. I'm grateful for it.
The clearest book I've ever read! - Rated
Over the last seven years I have read many, many books on non-duality. My favorite authors and friends include: Tony Parsons, Leo Hartong, Nathan Gill, Unmani Hyde and Guy Smith. I have just finished reading Jeff's book 'Beyond Awakening' and found it to be as clear, if not clearer than all the other books. To say any more would not do this book justice. Reading it has revealed a simplicity to it all, hither to, seemingly obscured. Thank You Jeff!
Aliveness itself... - Rated
This book is aliveness itself...it's not a classical non duality book with dry concepts and with the feeling at the end that this isn't it!
no, this one constantly goes back to "this",not a concept again but aliveness itself...it cuts through all beliefs, concepts, doesn't give anything to the seeker;it points out to death, death which is actually life itself...I would recommand it to anyone who would want to die (but who would want that anyway?)...awesome!...
Cleaner and Clearer than a crystal!!! - Rated
This is the second book by young Non-Dual teacher Jeff Foster, and what can I say,it blew my mind. I wrote a highly favorable review of his first book, and I must say the second one is just as good, perhaps even better.Jeff distills the highly complex Non-dual teachings into short, easily digestible mini-chapters, and each one left me with a bit more clarity. Some of the writing in the book seems to just 'stop!' the mind stone dead, and I just fall into the nothingness each time.As my spiritual path has progressed (and especially since I read Jeff Foster's first book, along with several books by Tony Parsons, David Carse and others) I feel I've been coming closer and closer to something beyond words, something that is timeless and Jeff Foster captures it magnificently, using language that an uneducated old man like me can actually grasp!!.Ive actually given this one to my wife, and although she is not familiar with Non-duality I felt safe that this book would be the right one to introduce her.
In summary, a clear, clear expression of "THIS" (as the author says), and one that will stay with me long after I have finished the final page. Highly, highly recommended. FIVE stars!!
