Like another reviewer, I also bought this book after seeing the TV documentary. I cannot praise this book highly enough, it took my breath away. It is not just a tale of survival, it is a story of friendship and what can happen when these relationships come under extreme pressure, it is a tale of jungle survival explaining exactly how one would live during a trip to the rainforest. There are jaguars, monkeys, snakes, fire ants, wild boar, the list of animals is endless and fantastic to read about from first hand experience. The character portrayal of the 3 other adventurers is an enlightening & eye-opening, they all seem so charasmatic.
Buy it, it will live with you forever.

Having seen the brilliant discovery Channel series "I shouldn't be alive", i was keen to learn more about Yossi Ghinsberg's Amazonian adventures. A quick search on google revealed he'd written this book.
Excellent read, i struggled to put it down. Most of my family have now read the book and also agree on its charm and gripping content. Highly recommended.
