I have a very strong interest in our souls, destiny, fate, past lives etc so I was very keen to try this out. After reading some of the very positive reviews I eagerly bought it with much excitement. I had also bought many of Doreen Virtue's other spiritual products such as angel cards and many of her books and CD's, so I felt very positive that this would work for me.
To my disappointment, IT DIDN'T WORK eventhough I was "open" and "accepting" of the wonderful gifts I would recieve. The CD was relaxing to listen to but I did not feel like I was in a state of hypnosis. Also I felt that I was "forced" to imagine things when I really did not see anything. I forced myself to imagine my "shoes" and what "I was wearing" and eventhough through the power of "suggestion" I felt the need to "think something up".... I REALLY DID NOT SEE ANYTHING.
I thought I may have been unlucky in that first go, maybe I was not relaxed enough or maybe the atmosphere wasn't right, but I tried this CD 4 times and each time I could not genuinely visualise anything. Sometimes I'd just "think" of something I saw on TV and imagine perhaps in my past life I was in the Victorian times... but this was totally influenced on what programmes or books I had read/watched that day.
Maybe it did work for the other reviewers... but maybe they just "imagined it" for the sake of! But like I said, I was very open to believing this, so I didn't have any sceptical blocks... infact I was very excited.
You can buy this CD if you like, but don't be dishearted if it doesn't work. Just remember its ONLY A CD, perhaps if you actually had a private session with a spiritualist you would get results as its catered to you.
I do believe we have past lives.... but maybe JUST listening to a CD isn't going to work for everyone. I have given this 2 stars because although it didn't work for me, Doreen is very talented and I think that deserves some credibility.
Best regression CD ive tried! - Rated 
This is the best regression CD ive tried. Most out there are very basic and bland, Doreen manages to create a deep relaxing regression that stimulates the imagination and carrys you far away. An angel will guide you and take you on a journey which involves the chakra colours. Unlike other CDs you will enter this regression with a question such as why am I like this? Why do I always do that or fear that? You will be taken to the life that may have influenced you. Doreen asks questions and makes you observe what you see. You will then go to another lifetime and at the end an Arhangel will clear away any old pain or fear from those lifetimes. I have lent this to others who also were very moved by this regression. If you fall asleep during any meditation CD try sitting up and dont use late at night.

I followed this meditation which is highly relaxing & can put you in a hynotic or very relaxed state. I am personally a very difficult person to relax but even so this CD did help me t relaxed me considerably so I think for most people it would work wonderfully. You have to follow the meditaion & it does work at a very deep level but as Dr Doreen Virtue states in the CD, your subconsciuos mind pretects you & only allows those memories that would heal you at this stage.I think it depends on how ready & open you are to healing. I highly recommned this Cd if you are looking to heal yourself. I found the effects were very subtle & gentle.
I recommend all books/meditaions by this author!

Doreen Virtue helps you to relax and safely takes the lisener to the realms of their subconscious mind.
She asks leading questions.."are you a man ?" " What shoes do you have on ?"
This makes the whole experience easy to see, understand and obtain a truely valueable therapy.

I was encouraged by the other reviews so I ordered the tape. tried it 3 times. first 2 times, I actually fell asleep after 10 min. 3rd time I was determined to stay awake, so i sat in bed, closed my eyes and listened to the tape using my headphones. I tried to visualise every step mentioned, the tunel, the angels bla bla bla the colours, and so on. Nothing, I could not even feel anything, all that was coming to my mind was the review I am going to write about this tape. The only feeling I got was that my right hand/front-arm were numb, although there were resting on my stomac. Why it did not work, I do not know, it could be that regression in general does not work, or it could be that unless u beleive in angels this tape won't work. I couldn't get myself to visualise an angel guiding me! in the tape she mentions that the angel is there to protect me, but I was not feeling threatened or unsecure or anything, so I tried to visualise that angel as a friendly energy/light, didn't work. I will give it a try later on, maybe in a week time, but until then, this tape is not recommended by me that is ;)
