100 Afghans to Knit and Crochet - Rated This book had some wonderful designs but a word of warning. This book is published in New York and the patterns are American. Whilst this does not seem to affect the knitting patterns, the crochet terminology is quite different, for instance a single crochet in America is a double crochet in England, a double crochet is a treble in England. This can make following a complicated pattern even more difficult and I found that I had to photocopy the patterns and then change the references to the English version. It would have been better if an English version of the book had been published here. Not a book for a beginner.
