a lovely simple storey - Rated A great little read. We have had this book for over 2years and it still gets regularly read, especially at bedtimes. A lovely simple rhyming prose with great pictures, and loads of prompts for those fantastic first words. Also nice and short if its getting late! My heart sinks if they pick Tarzan! Funtastic - Rated This book rhymes, is beautifully illustrated and the words are chosen perfectly for children aged around 2 and 6; and even me, (aged 10 years old), enjoyed this book and it put a smile on my face. The plot of this book is that there is a dinner party and there is loads of yummy food: macaroni, chocolate mousse, carrots and much more. I really love this book and if I had to give it away, I would truly miss it; whenever I feel down n the dumps and I need a cheering up, I look at this remarkable book. I would definitely rate `Chocolate Mousse for Greedy Goose' 8/ 10. A great book for reading aloud - Rated My 4 year old loved this book from the very first read through and knew it off by heart within days. He particularly likes the line "don't just grabbit says angry rabbit". This is a good book for reading aloud and in true Julia Donaldson style has great rhythm and rhyme. Lovely Illustrations - Rated My daughter loves this book almost as mush as I do. Always makes me laugh when I get to 'fussy duck' page! Lovely and colourful with nice verse. Very good.
