Customer Reviews

My daughters favourite book - Rated 5/5
My daughter is now three months old, and we have bought her several books. This is by far her favourite, either to read on her own, or hearing the simple story read to her. She loves trying to turn the pages herself and at the moment she prefers it to more adventurous books, that have flaps and textures. A great book.

Never judge a book by its cover! - Rated 2/5
This is the epitome of never judging a book by its cover; the cover is bright and interesting and the inside of the book is largely pastel and featureless. There are no interesting details, different textures or flaps to lift, and while the baby zebra attachment is cute it'd be difficult for a baby to squeak the squeaker as it's quite chunky.

I found the Usborne books much better.

Baby's favourite book - Rated 5/5
I was given this book as a Christmas present, and initially (before showing it to our baby) wasn't that keen on it, largely because the colours were rather more muted than in many other books for babies. But how wrong I was! Our baby (coming up 4 months) absolutely loves it, and reading it with him is really rewarding. The pages are thick enough for him to grab and twist, and the cut out hole in the middle means he can easily turn them. Plus he can play with, and try to eat, the little zebra cut-out. Its a great little book, and I wish there were more in the series. Highly recommended as a first book.
