Do not be fool by photo.. - Rated 3/5
Brought this book from reading the review
This book is packet full of information. You could end up like me getting swallow up in it all and lost. You will really need time to sit down and read though this book.

This really is not a user friendly book, instruction for diagrams were not easy as they were put in with the information so you would have to read the whole page.

The works only seem to focus a lot on legs hardly any thing on arms and chest and one or two in shoulder and back.

The diet, well you are eating the same items every day for 16 weeks only varying the meat for fish.

The reps and set are very low , so not sure how you are support to build muscle if you are a beginner.

I would recommend looking at the book before buying or get you're a fitness mag and follow one of there routines.

read the review for hard copy as well....

Only results with this book - Rated 5/5
I am Head Personal Trainer at Esporta health club and have purchased around 150 fitness related books. Scrawny to Brawny answers all those questions I have ever been asked in the gym by the hard to gain weight-training enthusiasts. This is an excellent read and a must for anyone wishing to put an edge to their training the natural way.

Good for little tit-bits - Rated 3/5
I agree some what to the reviews already mentioned. The book is very good for little hints here and there but the program is very hard to follow.

I've made my own routine but have utilised some of the stuff in the book. For the price i'd say it's worth it as there is a lot more expensive books out there that aint worth the money!

If your serious about bb'ing i wouldn't bother but if your interesting in getting into it i would begin here.

A terrible book! - Rated 1/5
This seems to offer it all. However, it is very hard to follow, is not very reader friendly and is very much like a text book from school days, it left me cold and uninspired to make any changes to my work out and diet.

Don't waste your money. Buy one of Matt Roberts books instead. It's everything this isn't. easy to follow and easy to adapt to your own life.

The whole layout of Scrawny to Brawny is a lot to be desired. A complete waste of money.

Good book, slightly too focused on their programme - Rated 4/5
The book outlines their program in excellent detail and contains lots of useful information on training, biometrics, and nutrition.

A point that annoyed me was that in the first few chapters the authors' make too many assumptions about your lack of knowledge and the way you are currently training. Its written as though you have been doing everything wrong and well done for picking their book as they have all the answers.

My only problem with the book is that because it is focused on their programme only one method is offered at each stage (e.g. only one nutritional plan). Although these are backed up by scientific research giving alternatives would be useful for those not interested in exactly following their programme.

Overall, its nice to see a book designed specifically for those who find gaining muscle difficult. It provides lots of training ideas for these individuals not usually found in other books/magazines.

Personally not going to be following their plan but have picked up lots of useful ideas/tips/hints for my training.
