If your aim is losing fat, tightening those problematic areas and toning to an attractive looking body, this book is for you. It is easy to read and follow, with colourful pictures to demonstrate how the workout is done. I bought this book as I needed effective workouts I can follow in my own time without the demand of gym visits. You can customise your own workouts depending on what results you want to achieve and the type of body shape you've got. Although, I'm fit and active, this book has helped me to plan workouts that helped me tone & shape up more. The book has also been recommended by another Amazon member, a professional public health nutritionist from the US which gave me the confidence to buy it. After I started following the workouts, 4 of my colleagues at work bought it and are in the process of reaping the benefits. Don't just buy it and shelve it as most of us normally do but buy it and put the workout plans into actions without any delay to enjoy the benefits.

If you want to be in shape again, or for the first time in your life, then learning from Lucy and using her programme will guide you to your goal - without mistakes.
The weight-loss dieter loses muscle-weight, but climbs onto a scale not knowing better and rejoices in his suffering (until he starts eating again). This book does not lead us to that common downfall.
The goal is not to "lose weight," but to lose excess fat and improve health (e.g., quality of life and attractiveness). Lucy Wyndham-Read provides the information to achieve this goal.

Among its benefits, "The No-Gym Workout" covers the lower, middle and upper body - within our individual fitness levels. The programme alternates aerobic (fat burning) exercise with muscle toning exercises from day to day, using different toning exercises each week.
Instead of losing interest, her methods continuously renew our interest. I have used the book alone and with others - fun either way.
After the six-week programme, we can increase the intensity of the exercises as desired, indefinitely.
Lucy Wyndham-Read's book uses color photographs to demonstrate the entire range of each exercise. The pictures also cover "what to avoid" to prevent injuries. The instructions on how to perform the exercises are easy to follow (look at the pictures and read the captions before doing an exercise each time).
