Mysterious Tintin thriller. - Rated
Herges Tintin comics are Classics and probably the best of the genre. They really are for all ages, some of my best childhood memories are of reading Tintin or Tinni as he is known in Iceland and I still enjoy reading these books today. What makes the Tintin books so good is that they seem to have everything in it that makes up a good comicbook. Originality, interesting characters, adventure, suspense, great humor and well thought out stories. If I had to choose only one Tintin book to take to a Desert Island, I think the Seven Crystal Balls would be it. The book is masterfully drawn like of course all the Tintin books and the story is not just full of humour and thrills but it also has a Mysterious Atmosphere to it which I really like.
Incredible this is Herge's genius at it's best! - Rated
This is definitely my favourite all-time Tintin book, this is understandably so if you consider the imaginative and somewhat eerie plot. All the characters are there, the Captain, the two detectives, professor Calculus, even Bianca Castafiore makes an unwanted appearance! The excellent storyline is similar to the tale of Tut-Ankh-Amen as one-by-one explorers of an Inca tomb are struck by a mysterious illness....Truely a fantastic read!

One of the most exciting Tintin books - Rated
This is one of the most exciting of the Tintin books Herge wrote. There is an air of menace as the seven scientists one by one fall prey to a mysterious illness. The last part of the book is the beginning of an exciting search for Professor Calculus. The fast-moving plot is full of unexpected turns and there are plenty of humurous moments from Captain Haddock and from the Thompsons.
THE BEST TINTIN BOOK EVER - Rated
What can you say about this brilliant book it has got every thing to make an exciting story. Herge must have been at his best when writing this gem of book. The plot itself is certainly one of the best plots I have ever read as it features every thing from detective style whodunnit plots to side splitting funny moments from Captain Haddock. The amount of twists and turns in this 'childrens' book has to be read to be believed. All in all this really is one of the greatest books ever written and the follow up 'The Prisoners of the Sun' isn't halve bad either.
