Bedtime stories... - Rated An absolutely beautiful book, with lovely illustrations. One of the childrens' classics in my opinion. I bought several copies to give as gifts. Amazon delivered them in very quick time. I look forward to reading it to my grandson. Good old fashioned story - Rated My four year old loved this although it took us two nights to get through it! Captures the childhood - Rated I only just remebered this book from when I read it in year 4, and at 14 , the memory nearly made me cry again! It's a beautiful story, and it really brings that kind of childhood to light, this is definitley one book that will always keep you're childhood. the velveteen rabbit - Rated I had a very special and close friend read a piece from this book at my wedding blessing on saturday 4th aug 07, everyone who heard it said how wonderful it was and as a consecquence i am ordering more copies today for friends and .....the vicar who loved the meanings contained within it. In today's fickle world this book is a must for revisiting your childhood and the true meaning of love and care. A gem for all children - Rated This must be one of the most wonderful books ever written for children. I remember being completely absorbed by it as a child as indeed are my own children today. It makes an excellent present for a godchild too!
