very poor - Rated I bought this book having read 5 star reviews. My Son never wants to read it, it has no flow or anything to recommend it. I think the 5 star reviews may well be from friends of the author or the publishing company. Great book a must have for every girl pirate! - Rated My daughter loves pirates! This book is now a bedtime favorite, great graphics and a wonderful use of different font sizes. The CD is a must have she just listens to it endlessly...music and sound effects are brillant. Even I haven't tired of hearing it repeatly, it's so great!!!! Fun - Rated We have used this book to plan two weeks maths activities around, so the children can have some 'fun' whilst they are learning at the end of term. Imagination and girl pirates - Rated What a great book. Slightly leftfield from stealing the house facade for a disguise and having girl pirates. Great to read and for our 3 year old to interject words into. Just add a touch of imagination and some stage voices. Might go and read it now to my kids. A joy really Favourite book - Rated My 2.5 year old has gone pirate crazy. She adores this book. I love the illustrations and it's nice to read a book without ryhmes for once (we have many of the Julia Donaldson ones). We have had to get her an eye patch and sword and she will gladly tell anyone she's a GIRL PIRATE! AHA. Best book we've bought her-it's fired her imagination so much. We have the CD version and we listen in the car too and sing along to the song. Wonderful stuff.
