Great things in small packages - Rated We initially bought 5 of the books from the My Thomas Story Library for our son and found that he loved them so much that we bought many more and will no doubt soon buy the newer releases. The books contain stories which, in many cases, have already been released as short episodes for the television. In order to keep the books to a manageable size the stories have been edited but in our opinion this in no way detracts from the pleasure of reading them. This particular book starts with Emily meeting Thomas for the first time and the problem that ensues when Emily takes Thomas' coaches, Annie and Clarabel, thus upsetting the other engines. Emily then has to pull the flour train which brings further problems before finally being told to take the 'Black Loch Special' which results in...well, you'll need to read the book. We can thoroughly recommend these to any other Thomas fans.
