disappointed - Rated Whilst I like the My Thomas Story Library, and the way that they do on the whole hold true to the original Railway Series by Rev W Awdry (and more importantly my two boys love them both) I was very disappointed with this book. I guess it was inevitable that comercialism would conquor and with all the new engines being invented for the TV series, but I had hoped that the writers of this would have done their homework! It made me laugh to read that Freddie called Skarloey a new engine! Skarloey and Rheanus are well over a hundred years old (read 'Gallent old engine' or even the My Thomas Story Library 'Skarloey') Maybe they should just stop while they are ahead. Can't cope with all the new engines that they invent only to appear in one episode! (and one book!!)
