It's not my cup of tea - Rated The book is very hard work and doesn't act as a foundation for scientific knowledge. It's makes no reference to the Curriculum Guidence for the Foundation Stage and knowledge and understanding of the world within that. More suited to upper primary teachers who are familiar with primary science already. Good science reference text - Rated This book contains the knowledge and understanding of science that a primary teacher will need. It's quite 'hard going' and probably not a good buy if you're looking for an easy-to-read science text. However, it does contain everything you'll need to know as a primary teacher.
