Sophie McKenzie: GIRL, MISSING - Rated 5/5
Girl, Missing, (And running for her life...) is a amazing book. Sophie McKenzie describes everything so well and it makes me feel I am there. i would reconmend this to 12 and overs.

Good attempt at adult content for kids - Rated 4/5
Reading childrens book as an adult gives you a good insight into the changes of teen literature since our childhood. I bought this novel as it was highly acclaimed through several liteary circles.
The main premise of the story focuses around Lauren, she is fully aware she is adopted, but, nothing other than this. She is told to write an essay for school about her and suddenly she realises that she knows nothing about her real self.
This need to know who her real family takes over her life and she becomes so focused on it she risks implicating her safety her friends safety and the world she knew and loved.
The stories main base is the idea of kidnapped children being put up for adoption illegally.
What this book does do is it keeps you to the last page. Unfortunatly, I believe this story to be able to deal with the content would be better served as an adults novel, as the characters are not particuarly well formed and the prose do not run very smoothly. It does keep you reading it though.
Think teens will like it but i would say to adults keep a wide birth

The best book ever! - Rated 5/5
Girl missing is a great story book for any age.
My favorite part was when Sonia Holtwood kidnapped Lauran and Maddison on to the boat and all the sneaky tricks Lauran did to try and catch Sonia. I didn't want it to end but I really want Sophie Mckenzie to write another book like that.

Sinister, Dark and Unpredictable! - Rated 5/5
Adopted Teen Lauren has always wondred who her REAL mother was, but doesnt know how to find out, however some late-night homework makes her stumble upon a shocking and scary discovery, and she and Best Friend Jam set out to find out the truth, but when their plan goes horribly wrong, theyre fighting for their lives, Will they EVER find out the truth , and Survive?
