Bookish soap opera - Rated
I bought this book with the best of intentions, but as I started out, I soon found it to be too much. I had to drag my self to read the rest, even though by page 40 I wanted to throw it away, now I will settle for it to collect dust in a far off corner. Set in the world of stars, you get introduced to an author of a Pulizer price book, a Rock star struggling to come up with a new album. I find the charreters to be shallow, and the story line to be overdone. You get would get the same kick from watching Days of our lives or the bold and beautiful. Just when you think that no more stupid soap opera twist can happen you are faced with another overdone drama, that makes you want to puke, to put it boldly. Instead you get the feeling that Sharon Stone wants to mingle with the rich and famous her self and by this book she is living out that dream. This book is 221 pages long, it makes a go around of as many dramas as the days of our lives get around a whole season. If you are into that stuff, this book might be something for you. But are you a reader who wants a book with real charrecters that has depth find another book to read. Not even the single love scene in this book is worth the money you pay for it. I give the book one star, simply because I couldn't give it less. I would not recomend this book if my life depended on it. And bear with me, this review is based on my huge disapointment this read gave me.
A classic love story - Rated
This is one of those books destined to be a classic. Well written, smart, funny and the best dialogue. This author is a cut above the rest.
