While she and her friends are walking, they find what looks like an abondoned boat. From then on Mandie leads her friends on an adventure watching a man cry inside the boat and chasing after a thief. Any person who likes mysteries or stories that take place at the turn of the century, will enjoy this book and the other Mandie books. She learns, once again, that she needs to forgive no matter how much it hurts. A message that needs to get across to every person.

When Mandie Shaw and her friends go on a trip to Europe, they find a seemingly abandoned fishing boat with strange sounds coming from inside. So Mandie desides to investigate and that investigation leads to a very surprising ending. With each step of the way, facts get more confusing and Mandie much bolder, untill the part which makes hearts soften and eyes moisten. I always enjoy reading this book no matter how many times, because there are mixes of feelings in every chapter that will satisfy everyone, including fun, adventure, joy, sadness, boldness, stubborness, and thanksgiving.
