Wonderful, honest book!! - Rated
I found this book to be most helpful in my study of church history. Palmer lays the information out for the reader, leaving only a small conclusion, ultimatley giving the reader the chance of forming their own ideas and beliefs. There are many things we do not learn about our church history, paticulary with regard to the way in which Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon, when we sit in our meetings, and so this book will be of great interest to those who are interested in a fuller history of the church's beginings. I for one absorbed this book in 4 days, i couldnt put it down.
