Very disappointing - Rated 1/5
Having read all the favourable reviews on Amazon.com (the American site), I was really looking forward to recieving this book. However, I was very disappointed. This so called revolutionary treatment is little more than a re-hash of old ideas. Basically it was Self Help for Your Nerves by Claire Weeks rewritten in a poor manner. It basically asks you to accept and face your fears. I have no problem with that, but its claim to be a 'new and powerful treatment' are frankly untrue. Also, while the book does give the reader plenty of exercises, I felt it did not offer adequate encouragement. The book also only offers vague information about what progress actually is, so you have no way of knowing whether its working or not. I would not recommend this book. It really is old wine, new label.
