As a Catholic women i had some questions about what is and isn't ok in a marriage. I thought that this book was well written and had some really good helpful ideas, but as a Catholic i feel that some of the opinions in this book conflicted with Catholic teaching in what is and is not acceptable in marriage. By all means read this book as a "Christian" guide to the marriage act, but i would advise any Catholic to buy a book specifically aimed at Catholics (Good News about Sex and Marriage:answers to your honest questions about Catholic marriage by Charles J Chaput)as there were a few areas in the book that i felt conflicted with Catholic teaching.

I was apprehensive about getting this book but amazing! Really changed my view and perspective on sex, what is and isn't OK within a Christian marriage. Tackles all those hard to ask questions that we all worry about. Enjoyed the book so much it took for ever to move from one chapter to the next :-) I just wish we talked about these things more among other Christians. I want to share it with all my friends and see the change in their relationships! Definatley a must have wedding / anniversary present for all christians. Just goes to show you are never too old to learn something new. Definatley recommend to all.

The perspectives in this book are like stepping out of a musty and smoky 10-hour overseas flight into a wooded glade by a mountain stream, so far from the images and ideas which currently overwhelm each of us regarding sex. It is very refreshing for one's own heart and mind, as well as invigorating to one's marriage. God wants me to thoroughly enjoy His wonderful gift with my husband, and this book puts me on that path.

I bought this book because as a Christian wife, I had some questions about what is not allowed by God in the marriage relationship. This book is an excellent source for women who are seeking answers to many different questions about sex and marriage. I highly recommend this book to any woman who is looking to improve her overall relationship with her husband.
