Very impressive little bible - Rated I had read a few passages from the ESV online and decided to get myself a copy. I found this one and after reading the two reviews already there (and seeing the incredibly low price) bought one. I wasn't disappointed. It really is a lovely bible. Small enough to carry around (it comes in a gift box, which also helps if you put it in a bag, etc) yet the print is large enough to read (some may find it quite small and it is paler than some bible print, though). It does use 'American' English throughout, so be warned if you hate American spelling, I find it fine, and after a while it doesn't bother me. The pages are also quite thin, but show me a compact bible that doesn't have that, lol. It really is leather, too, and good quality leather. It has a ribbon marker, a presentation page at the front and the words of Christ in red (which I really like, to be honest) there is also a huge dictionary/concordance at the back (62 pages, which for such a small bible, is excellent). It is also extremely readable and easy to understand. I would recommend it highly, it has all of the majesty of the King James Version, but none of the archaic language. It would make a lovely present for someone, or even just as a present for yourself...go on, buy one...you know you want to, lol. Excellent pocket Bible - Rated I purchased this edition of the Bible because I needed a pocket version of this accurate and readable translation; it has exceeded all my expectations. This is a beautiful edition with an excellent binding, well designed tab closing, a good concordance, and although the print is small it is amazingly clear; all this comes at an extraordinarily low price. Very good quality pocket leather Bible - Rated Recent ESV version (US) with red lettering. Very hard wearing quality bonded leather. Great for the price and much better value than other UK bonded versions - why are American standards in bookbinding so much higher? Buy it and importantly, read it.

Recent ESV version (US) with red lettering. Very hard wearing quality bonded leather. Great for the price and much better value than other UK bonded versions - why are American standards in bookbinding so much higher? Buy it and importantly, read it.
