Fairly sketchy - Rated Not near enough information on any speific records. Gives very vauge outlines to record genres but didn't really enlighten me on the true value of my record collection. Collecting vinyl collecting books - Rated An excellent book, with many helpful and important facts about record collecting. Covers most of the 20th Century, 78s, 45s, 33.3s in most genres. Gives guides to values pointing out WHY things are worth what, and the things to look out for for the future. Written in an upbeat and entertaining tone it's a difficult book to put down. The let down for me was a rather sparse Rock/Punk/Metal section. I mean I dont think Iron Maiden was mentioned once booo : ( nevermind, SUMMARY - A great book for a general view on collecting vinyl. a first class informative book - Rated this is a pure gem of a book.every page packed with information on every field of music. a must have for any collector of vinyl
