Chingford and Lithuania - the Morris connection - Rated
Ms. Phillimore has given us a most useful and succinct history of Lithuania, although I noticed a most intriguing feature on the front cover.
In the central picture on the front of this book is a picture of A Chingford Morris Man playing a Zither. I looked inside, but nowhere in the text could I find a summary of Morris dancing in Lithuania, or any mention of the cultural links between Chingford and Lithuania. Admittedly, Lithuania's flag and Chingford Morris *do* share the same colours, (red, green & yellow), but apart from that I could divine no other reason for a book on Lithuania featuring an exponent of England's ancient dances.

If Thomas Cook publish a further edition of this book, I would earnestly hope they include some text expanding on the apparent English cultural influence on this Baltic State?
