Fantastic book, so useful! - Rated This book is worth every penny in my opinion. It outlines different design (modern and period) styles and then goes on to give examples of these styles for the main rooms in the house (kitchen, bathroom, lounge and bedroom). Being Swedish myself I have I guess always swayed towards the Scandinavian style, but I had never realised just how much! This book really helped me put the finger on what it is that I really like and I have also found a few future purchases featured in the book. The photographs are really good and the way it's written is brilliant, not patronising but encouraging and the authours also encourage mixing styles to make your home more diverse and interesting, whilst still keeping a cohesive look. This book made me want to go home and re-design my house! Absolutely a must if you are interested in interior design or just want to make your home "homely" and make sure it reflects your style taste and nobody else's. I can't see this book ever collecting dust in my bookcase!
