a good book - Rated An amazing low price for a book of such fine quality. Suitable for both beginner and intermediate levels. Profusely illustrated, compact, full of useful information, clear and well written, practical, helpful, easily understandable. Almost every aspect of pottery covered in text and photos. Pity there is no photo of Josie herself... would be nice to see her own bodily form as well as those of her pots. She teaches pottery in London and includes some pots and projects of her students... which gives a sympathetic inclusive feel to the book. Recommended. Great Handbook - Rated This book was really easy to understand, especially for someone starting out in pottery like me. It explained all the terms I didn't understand and gave a great ovrview of the whole subject of pottery. I particularly liked the projects. I also think that this would be a good book for more experienced potters to refer to for new ideas and to keep them inspired!

Great Handbook - Rated 5/5
This book was really easy to understand, especially for someone starting out in pottery like me. It explained all the terms I didn't understand and gave a great ovrview of the whole subject of pottery. I particularly liked the projects.
