I Want to be a Cow Girl is a story about a young girl who has her heart set on becoming a cow girl. She certainly doesn't want to be a girl who cleans and cooks, or be schoolgirl or a girlie girl. Wonderful - Rated Every time we read this book (i.e. every night) I find a wonderful new detail, from the cactus clouds to the father ironing his hat. It has become a firm favourite, and all the adults I've shown it to are similarly tickled. My sone particularly loves the last page and gets wildly excited to see the father tossing away his phone and keys.
