Simple Morality Tale - Rated Quite a zany but slight morality tale of a rhino who was absent from school when they taught social etiquette, but who gets a very gentle come-uppance in the end. The target is 4 to 6 year olds, I'd say, and they will enjoy Tony Ross's characteristically offbeat, large illustrations. Pretty good, but would a young child be enthused to try the dozen or so other titles by the same team listed inside the book? Maybe..... A funny book which teaches not to be rude - but could have the opposite effect! - Rated I bought this book for my son because he loves a good laugh when we read his stories. Its about a rhino who blows raspberries and shows his bum in response to people talking to him. At the end he gets a raspberry blown at him and he is shocked by it and is never rude again, so there is a lesson to be learned from this book. However, I wonder if the hilarity of the raspberry blowing might amuse the child to such an extent that they might start doing it themselves now that the idea has been put into their heads. Still a fun read. You have to be in the mood for blowing raspberries, mind!

I bought this book for my son because he loves a good laugh when we read his stories. Its about a rhino who blows raspberries and shows his bum in response to people talking to him.
