disappointing - Rated I wouldn't class this as a book, more like a photographers profile. I thought it would be an interesting read but was disappointed. There is one allotment per page, probably no more than 300 words on each plot with a full page photograph. No indepth writing, more like a CV of each allotment owner. The photographs are fantastic but if you have an interest in allotments and want a more indepth view don't buy this book. A little bit lightweight, but good - Rated A good, lightweight book ideal for picking-up and putting down, or for the shelf in the littlest room in the house. Expect to finish the entire thing in an hour or two.
