Superb - Rated An absolute definitive record of the 1966 World Cup held in England. Yes that's right matches were staged all over England NOT just London. Very wittily written pieces accompany many rarely published photographs from regional newspaper agencies and personal collections across the country. Obviously the 4-2 Wembley final gets a look at the end of the book but not at expense of detailed retrospectives of North Korea's shock victory over Italy at Ayresome Park, Pele, Garrincha and Eusebio lighting up Goodison Park A brilliant retrospective proving that there was more to 1966 then Geoff Hurst's hat trick, Russian linesman and Bobby Moore wiping his dirty hand on his shirt before meeting the Queen.
