Easy to carry, with the details you need - Rated Small fold-out map, doesn't look much, but when we were in Dubai it turned out to be very detailed, very up to date, and very accurate. That it was convenient to carry I already knew. Can recommend this map if you are just going to Dubai, even the locals (friends that moved to Dubai 1.5 years ago) found it very useful. I can certainly recommend it - but don't use it for driving unless you really have to, instead take a taxi. The traffic is bad! And even if you see that the distance on the map is very short, calculate that you need extra time to get there. The map is up to date but the traffic slows everything down, even the shortest distance takes forever except Fridays. Only grownups? Walking may be an alternative if you are there during the cooler season (in which the map will certainly help!), but with kids? Not unless the kids are really young or they are teenagers. But regardless, it is nice to have a feeling of where you are. Good luck - and have fun!
