Bennett's The Card - something for everyone - Rated The Card revives all human emotions, laughter, tears, understanding, appreciation of our rich language ... it has novel themes as well as traditional ones. The only fault is that this edition has a few typos which should have been picked up by a proofreader. They were irritating to me but might not have been picked up by everyone - I'm a pedant. But that's only the edition, the story is a classic which will live for very many years. The Card - Rated I found this to be a very good adventure story, very funny and clever. It really held my attention all the way through. I would certainly recommend it.
