Better even than Horrid Henry - Rated Having ploughed our way through Horrid Henry I was looking for something to read that was a little less - shall we say strident? - but would still have 5 year old boy appeal and these books definitely come into that category. With great illustrations and funny stories they have both of us laughing out loud and if you have to have a whole series of books based on small boy humour then these are some of the best you can get. Great for KS1 confident readers and on up from there as they have short chapters and the child feels they are reading something they enjoy. Highly recommended. Lots of fun! - Rated I bought this book for my son enticed by the title ' Pants 'knowing that he would find this funny in it's self. He thoroughly enjoyed the whole book, the three stories, aimed at a boy's disgusting sense of humour were a story about pants, funny antics on stage and a yukky story invoving a dog poo.If you want to encourage your son to read more then this book is ideal, mine's aready asked for the other books in the series and at less than £3 each they are well worth it!
