Loved it - Rated 4/5
Having read Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse and being obsessed with them, I was really excited about this book :D And luckily it didn't disappoint!

You can tell she's writing for adults, it feels a bit different from Twilight. The story was really interesting and when you think about it afterwards, quite scary! Set in our times, earth has been invaded by 'Souls', who take over human bodies and the human is lost all apart from their body. When Melanie is taken over however she doesn't just disappear, she sticks around and is able to talk with the invading soul, she has no control over her body though. The situation gets very complicated as Melanie's invader, Wanderer, ends up falling in love with the man that Melanie loves. They set off on a journey to find him and it's from there that story reall kicks off.

The story is brilliant and has so many twists and brilliant stories going on. The plot is very clever. I found that the first 100 pages a tad bit boring and was surprised at Stephenie Meyer but maybe I was being a bit unfair and my expectations were too high. The last 500 pages were unputdownable though, seriously, I just really wanted to know what was going to happen and how on earth it would end!

I'd recommend this to any fiction lover and definitely if you like Meyer's other books, enjoy!

I LOVED IT!! - Rated 5/5
this book is truly amazing!
I cant put it to words!
while reading it i got many imotions from hapines to the sheding of tears that was hard to control the same as wanda once couoldint. I am not a fan of sci-fi books but this is truely something diferent!
I loved the bickereng between mel and wanda her memories the pastionat love towards jerard and ian and the way jeb is facinated by everything.
stephanie mayer created anohter iristable piece that was hard to put down as it had so much wonder and excitment i just cant describe...

Stephenie does it again... - Rated 5/5
Once again, Stephenie Meyer has written an amazing, compelling novel for adults and teenagers alike.

Even though it's marketed as an adult book, it's suitable for the YA audience, as well.

The characters are exactly what we've come to expect from Stephenie: they're realistic, compassionate and, ultimately, driven by love in all forms.

The love triangle involving only two bodies is a new and exciting idea, which really draws you into the story, and adds the romance to this sci-fi novel.

It's nowhere near as good as The Twilight Saga (but, then again, what is!?), though I've still given it 5 stars. I couldn't put it down.

Every fan of Twilight or Stephenie Meyer should go and buy this book - then lend it to your daughter or your Mother. It's perfect for everyone.

hate sci fi - love the host! - Rated 5/5
the characters and emotions are so beautifuly decsribed, you become part of the book.
the storyline is brilliant and unpredicatble, very emotional too.

i was worried it would have the same feel as the twilight series, but it is a whole new story, and the only similarity between the books is the way you cant put them down!! (seriously... im pretty sleep deprived right now!)

Steph.. you've done it again!

fantastic - Rated 5/5
This is a great book and not just for adults!!! i have to say i am a bit puzzled as to why its not classifed as a YA book. The charecters are really the driving force behind this story they are so beleiveable!

Stephanies beloved descriptive prose catches my breath at its brillience and sentimentality.

Somehow in this book I am unsure who the monsters are the humans or the Aliens.

Read it! even if you dont like sci-fi this book is not really about the science its more about the qualities that we posess as humans.
