This book is fantastic. Step by step pictures show all stages of each cake design. Various techniques shown includind use of edible pens and painting on sugarcraft. Designs come out exactly as pictures as instructions are precise and clear. Well deserved 5 stars.

Debbie Browns books are just fantastic - including this one. I find the step by step instructions spot on and the results are amazing. She even gives the weights of modelling paste needed to the quater ounce which gives superb proportions to the charaters. Give this book a try even if your new to this cake making game. I've got every one of her books and the reactions I get from parents ( never mind the children!! )are wonderful. I really can't rate her books highly enough. An excellent cake can hold a justified price tag!

There is a good variety of cakes ideal to cater for children's parties. The steps are clear and easy to follow. I got this as a Christmas present for my wife and I know she'll love it.

The children loved just looking at the books and imagining the outcomes but the cooks (!) were really impressed by the clear presentation and step by step guide. Better than any others we've seen. Shame it was produced before Bob the Builder arrived on the scene but it does include Postman Pat, Noddy and Thomas etc.

I have made several of these cakes, and although they may never be as perfect as the photographs in the book, family and friends are always impressed! The photos are clear, and the instructions are easy to follow - with the right equipment, and this book, you cannot fail to create a masterpiece in the eyes of your child!
