Very disappointing! - Rated I had read previous reviews on this book and was very disappointed when I received it. The potty in the book looks nothing like a typical potty and my daughter is not convinced. The tabs are not easy to pull, and if I left my daughter alone with this book, it would be in shreds in minutes. I also found it very patronising. Try 'I want my potty' instead - my daughter loves it, and it's much more fun to read for both of us. Useful but not strong enough - Rated This is a great little book, with each page depicting each stage of using the potty. My daughter (2-3years) really liked it, maybe a little too much, because it wasn't really sturdy enough to stand up to a toddler's little hands. Some of the moveable pieces did get ripped off. I'm not sure though whether it really helped in speeding up the potty training process, but was still read a lot!!! The fun potty training book - Rated I have just bought a new copy of this book. This book was her favourite and has remained so. We read the book together to see what the little boy does to use the potty and at 22 months had my daughter toilet trained within two weeks. We substituted the word 'Potty' with 'Toilet' and skipped the potty altogether and got straight on the big loo. I am certain it is all down to this book. 'Quick, run! I need the toilet...!' just like the little boy, has saved many accidents I am sure. All my tabs are well used but are still in tact after seven months of use and even now the Potty Book is read on her own (she knows all the phrases by heart) when my daughter needs more than a quick wee. Excellent. EDUCATIONAL AND FUN AT THE SAME TIME. - Rated I purchased this book for my son at Christmas as I wanted to start potty training him, he is 2 1/2, we had fun reading the book, but I made a large mistake and left him and the book alone. Unfortunately there are now bits of the pop up book bent or missing. I know that he found the book really fun and even though there are bits missing he still reads it and claps (as we do at home) when the little boy has done a wee on his potty! I have no regrets at all about buying this book.

I have just bought a new copy of this book. Having three children and about to train the last, the previous copy, which a friend with three children had given me, was falling to pieces it was so well played with.
